About Me
Biography
I’m a designer, painter, dog mom, apple pie baker, and DIY enthusiast passionate about sustainability.
In my work, I like to look at everything through a lens of circular design. I became interested in waste diversion when I was working at OCAD U's ODESI (Office of Diversity, Equity, and Sustainability Initiatives), where with two other students, we began looking at ways to divert our campus' material waste. My sustainability journey has continuously taught me new things and I try to share the knowledge I've acquired to hopefully inspire others to adopt sustainable habits.
As an interior designer, I aim to create meaningful spaces that encourage the dweller to have a symbiotic relationship of care with their home. My Thesis Project, titled Habitat/Home explores this relationship while turning the home into an ecosystem that self-manages waste, and diverts the construction and demolition waste generated through renovations.
